Adv. Sitaram (Babanbhau) Anandramji Baheti Arts, Commerce & Science College, Jalgaon popularly known as Babanbhau Baheti Mahavidyalaya, which is established in 1983. Today it is one of the premier institute in the region known for sports activities. Founder of the institute Late Adv. Babanbhau Baheti was himself National & State Kabaddi player and bagged gold medal. Other members of executive body also represented for Kabaddi and other sports event and winning gold medal. This is the educational institute of sports enthusiasts. Due to ever ending passion for sports Late Adv. Babanbhau Baheti decided to start this college where sports and education are encouraged equally.
The vision of management is very clear to fulfill the higher education need of sports students as well as the students belonging to rural and slum area. Our mission is “To empower the students to achieve allround development”. This is only institute having well maintained play ground and where Kabaddi is played on Mat. Thus, we proudly hold the tag of being the most premier educational institute in the University region established and managed by sports people till date.
As an academician, I believe that the reputation of this institution lies in the fact that it provide different academic programmes that are suited to the students. Our target is to equip the students with quality education. The aim is to make them responsible youth to build a better nation.
As per the aspiration of Late Adv. Babanbhau Baheti the institute is marching towards higher goals in education and I am no doubt that ambience of this campus will fulfill long cherished dream in the field of higher education.
